Aims and Scope

The Croatian Journal of Philosophy is a peer-reviewed academic journal grounded in the tradition of analytic philosophy. Established in 2001, the journal publishes original articles and critical discussions across all areas of philosophy, with a special emphasis on the philosophy of language and linguistics. It welcomes high-quality submissions from scholars around the world, fostering a vibrant international exchange of philosophical ideas.

Additionally, it offers a spotlight to philosophical ideas developed within Croatia and the broader Central and Southeastern European context.

The Croatian Journal of Philosophy is an open-access journal, ensuring that all published content is freely available to readers worldwide without subscription or payment barriers.

Ethics Statement

The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publishing ethics. We follow the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for handling cases of misconduct. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software. Any use of large language models (LLMs) must be clearly disclosed.
